Arrogance is your premise that LSU's offense is indefensible which is laughable considering our defense.

Your arrogance won't allow you to understand this.

You are playing against the best OL in the nation, with arguably one of the best running backs in the history of the game....without a passing game, you can defend that. However, LSU has very highly talented WR's (better than Bama's) and now a QB that can actually beat you with his arm and feet, and is emerging as one of the best qb's in the SEC. It's the perfect storm. You stuff the line to stop LF.....he can beat you passing. You back off to respect the pass....LF has a field day. But hey....you are 14 and counting....no one beats bama or has better players. Carry on.

It will come down to special teams and turnovers. Bama obviously has better special teams, LSU rarely turns the ball over. Toss up, I have LSU winning because tGOAT Fournette.
LSU wins in OT 33-30

Dude, slow down and take a deep breath. The game is still 3 weeks away. You're going to blow a gasket at this pace.

I'm not a troll like you guys. The good news is that it won't be long until we get to see. I'll gladly come on here and admit I'm wrong, if it turns out that I was. I would not expect the same from you guys....you will have obviously beaten yourself and therefore no respect given.

laugh if you will. Name all of the QB's in the league who are more talented and have more nfl potential? Kiper was on today talking about potential and talent....he seems to think BH has it all....but what does he know right....just because a QB doesn't throw much doesn't mean they can't throw much.

how dare anyone slight bama right? Anyone who does is stupid.

I'm assuming you think coker is better than Harris.

That's not what you said. You said he was emerging as one of the top QB's in the SEC, which he is not....yet. He has talent, and a good cast around him and very well develop into one of the top QB's in the league, but he is not emerging to that point yet.

Kyle Allen almost threw an interception on the first play of the game and was then hit hard a couple of plays later. He was rushed to the point of making some bad decisions. Being able to take advantage of those bad decisions takes skill. Bama's defense is the best I've seen in several years, and that is saying something.

Plus he was getting hammered every time he threw it.

Bama beat the hell out of him which caused his mistakes. BUt of course, it was just an off game.

LSU only scored due to a fake fg and had 13 yards passing in the second half against UF. I think Bama will figure out why the 1st half and 2nd half were so different and they'll approach it accordingly.

What's to figure out? Miles had a 14 point halftime lead and with the best RB in the nation got predictably conservative. This is the formula and Les doesn't stray from it unless LSU is down by 3 or more scores in the 4th quarter.

Lsu has more talent at QB than bama

I'll give you BH as a very talented QB, but it isn't like we're lacking talent at the position. Blake Barnett was a 5 star, Cornwell was a high 4 star and probably would've been a 5 had his final year not been cut short. Star ratings aren't everything though.

more talent at WR

Are we talking just starters and non injured players and are we including TEs? If we include TEs and take the whole roster we have Ridley/Foster/Howard. LSU has Malachi/Johnson/Dural though. Both teams have more, but those would be the three from each side I'd highlight.

quote:

more talented OL

Starting OL or overall on the roster? If starting, I agree. If overall, I gotta give the edge to Bama. We've had some insane OL classes the last few years.

quote:

while Henry is good...he isn't in the same league as Fournette

I agree.

quote:

LSU definitely has a better offense than Alabama...

I'd say LSU's is more consistent. I think at 100% full healthy and everyone playing their A+ game it's a push.

quote:

The defense may be a slight edge to bama, but with the return of Mills...that could change. Both are good though. No one has scored 30 or more points on LSU this year.

Tough to disagree. We definitely have the best front 7 in CFB, it isn't up for debate. When you get to the back end we've got Cyrus Jones as one of the best CBs in the country, Eddie Jackson as one of the best Safeties, and of course Minkah (Star) and Harrison (Money) are playing like stars now. However LSU has very impressive guys as well, headlined by Tre White. I'd give the edge to Bama overall, but not by a huge margin or anything. As for Bama's point total, the consensus national opinion is definitely reflecting the Bama fan opinion of the Ole Miss game just being an anomaly.

quote:

Special teams is Bama...but it's unbelievable that neither team doesn't have incredible special teams, given all the talent on each team.

I don't know, our FG kicking is still terrible. JK Scott has had a bit of a Sophomore Slump.

quote:

Clearly you have home-field advantage.

Well yeah but that doesn't really matter in this game. Bama's record in Death Valley and LSU's record in BDS show that HFA is meaningless between Bama and LSU.

I'd say the game is decided by 3rd down, JMO.

No, ole miss was gifted that game. LSU will humble Bama 38 - 17

I wanna go ahead and make this post so I can bookmark it as reference.

I will not be surprised if any of the following happens:

- Bama wins a tight game
- LSU wins a tight game
- Bama wins by double digits
- LSU wins by double digits
- Leonard Fournette has a bad/average game
- Leonard Fournette has a great game
- The game goes to OT
- Brandon Harris looks like shite
- Brandon Harris looks good/great/elite

I'm expecting anything and everything, it's Bama and LSU in what will likely be the determining game in the SEC West, SEC, and possibly for the National Title.

My only prediction: Bama will have to score at least 28 points to win.
