Jarius Holloway, a student and quarterback (16 years old) of a Copiah Academy in Mississippi was killed in a car accident this morning. I wanted to put this on here to remind people that we all play around and trash talk, and it's all in good fun, but it's still a game in life that's not as serious as we make it. You never know when your time is up, so make the most of life while you're here. Dads, love and spend time with your sons, because young men need more of that these days. You never know if you can tomorrow. Last, but not least, say a prayer for this family, as I know they are living in agony. It's just a sport guys, love your families while you can!

Prayers to the young man's family. Makes worrying over football seem silly.

I can't imagine how that community is taking it. Those are some good folks down there in Wesson. Prayers sent.

As a member of the Copiah County community I can attest to the grief we are all feeling. I didn't know Jarius, but I do know several of his teammates and they are in a bad way. Please pray for the Holloway family and the kids of Copiah Academy.

Well said and even though we are passionate about our teams, most of us would get along if we got to know each other while having a beer and watching football. My heart goes out to anyone who loses a child or has a personal tragedy.

Been to copiah national bank several times and always liked that community. Still have a copiah paperweight that I use at home. Regardless of that, I feel and pray for that family and community.
