The last Alabama head coach to win 9 games in his first season at Alabama was Frank Thomas. In 1931. 93 years ago.
Yet every single Alabama coach that coached a full season since 1958 had at least one 10 wins season. Even Mike Dubose, Mike Shula, and Dennis Francione.
No one will be Nick Saban.
But celebrating the downfall in season one after going 9-4? Have at it. I think it will be fun.
