Idk what that has to with anything. I guess, congrats on spending way more time on here than I do? But in that time its painfully obvious you can't refute claims with stats and facts. You care more about saying things that don't make sense and isn't relevant to the conversation. I like my style better.

by your logic Timmy Chang, Case Keenum, and Colt Brennan are the GOAT QBs

Absolutely not. What gave you that idea? I never even said Alshon is the GOAT! Reading comprehension, bro.

Alshon played against the same competition as Julio and Green yet put up better numbers. The only argument that can be made is for Green, as he played 8 fewer games than Alshon & Julio.

See, I do this for a living. Most have figured it out by now. You seem (sarcasm) a tad slower than most. No problem, we were talking about stats. Dave Winfield had 3000 meanlingless hits, no one mentions him in best of even his own era. Now he thought a lot of himself, as did Reggie. Want to compare those two? You have the floor.

I think this is fair -- bordering on generous. Obviously JFF is on another plane at QB, and our RB corp is shaping up to be something for the ages. I just don't know that we have "the guy" at WR, and overall we have a bit of inexperience there.

Despite me really thinking the guy is solid (and he's in my sig photo), I don't put Mike Evans up against the elite in the SEC just yet. Yes, the guy will make a catch in the middle of a monster truck demolition derby, but his chronic hamstring issues and his seeming lack of straight line speed are concerns. This could absolutely be the year he breaks out though -- in which case I will say A&M could easily have the best skill position player(s) at QB/RB/WR in the SEC.

Not saying they would make the top 5 but Texas with Ash, Davis, and Gray could be supprisingly good this coming year.

And while I hate giving this guy any kind of feedback on his full-retard posts, I have to laugh at the notion of a QB that can't even keep his job throughout the year as even being the basis for a good troll post...

I've been trying to formulate a reply but you nailed it.

You post on an internet message board for money?

Anyways, I don't give a shite about baseball, we're talking SEC football here. What says Julio or Green>>>Alshon? Alshon was THE main target for us and defenses knew that. Not to mention he had a bipolar drunkard for a QB. Alshon put up more yards, made more catches, had more 100 yard games, had a better YPC average, and had 23 tds (tied w/ Green). So again, what stats exist that you come up with that has Julio & Green>>>Alshon?

BTW FrankWhite'56, this has bothered me for a while. Are you really class of 1956??? If so you're older than my father, and I'm way past old by secrant standards. If you were born in '56 then you're a year older than me, which is much easier to contemplate.

Just waiting for you to actually say something relevant to the conversation that justifies you saying Alshon is literally nothing like Green or Julio. If you can't come up with anything, just admit you were wrong. No big deal, it happens.

And fwiw, I rarely post on this board when I'm not alone. Why would I glue my face to this (during the offseason no less) when I have an actual person to talk to/interact with? I think its sad when old guys sit here posting about half meaningless shite with family members in the next room.

LSU would be in the mix except our Qb would screw the pooch sooner or later even if he had Jerry Rice to play pass and catch.
Our RB should be out of Angolia by the 2016 season. And the WRs for the Tigers are all low mileage.
With that said by November we could be # 1 in the west.

There are three QBs at Oklahoma State alone better than him. The sad part is some people actually believe Ash is decent.

Maybe you can actually provide an argument as to why you think its so funny I made that claim. Two of your Bama brethren have refused thus far.

Stopped there. I can post for you from now on, I have the act down pat.

JFF is the SEC's leading rusher... and he's light years ahead of AJ. Evans is dominant as well. You don't really have an argument about Bama being better other than homerism... especially given the inexperience you have on the o-line...

Alshon had a better sophomore season mainly because AJ was injured midway through the year.

Other than that... eh.

Jeffrey had a good freshman year and a great sophomore year, he was fat and not the same his Jr year.

He was as productive as Julio and Green, but not the same caliber of talent.
