IMO Briles is the one guy out there that you could realistically get that could possibly recreate what Petrino did. I have said several times on here that he would be on my list if and when Les retires.

Retreads like Tubbs or Davis would be a disaster for them IMO. Although I would love to have Tubbs back in the league.

I agree too and would normally rank him higher but I just don't see him leaving the state of Texas right now.

Briles has never left the state of Texas. He is in his mid-50s and every single coaching stop (high school and college) for him has been in the state of Texas. He was in high school coaching until his 40s. Unique situation.
