Pretty much have to put Bryant, Saban, and Neyland in whatever order. Only leaves 2 spots.

The SEC had a scholarship limits when Bryant coached. 140 scholarships for football and basketball. One of the reason Ga Tech left the conference.
How many times during the Bryant era was BAMA #2 in the polls and didn't get to play #1 due to bowl/conference tie ins? If #1 won their game nothing #2 could do.
Do you think Bryant could have lost to auburn and still won the national championship? To answer my own question, NO.
