According to some OSU guys including Spielman, there is more revelations to come.

Yes. At least, I know we had one related to our punishment around that time. I am pretty sure it was 93.

What people dont understand is that when you have that crappy roster due to the sanctions, you have shitty years, period. And coaches dont stick around for those kind of years, whether by their choice or the impatience of the program.

That is true. However, Bama had legitimately good coaches who wanted the job. What you don't seem to understand is that the point I am making is this - scholly reductions will certainly hurt a program, but that pain can be lessened somewhat and overcome more quickly with quality leadership in the HC position. Having 3 differnt coaches in a period of less than one year was certainly a factor in why it took Bama so long to recover. Having an idiot like John Blake as the HC at Oklahoma was certainly a factor in why it took them so long to recover.

The car benefits go pretty deep and go back to at least when tressel was hired. There is some booster shite that goes on, but I highly doubt anything comes of that. There are a few other minor things I know of that may come to light, but the car stuff is/was the most flagrant

I know in 93' AU was undefeated but had a bowl ban
I've read all this. I was in elementary school then and didn't keep up with football

That's still pretty bad, if true. That would make the violations systemic.

One thing that could get ugly is Pryor and his "mentor" situation and the peripheral possibilities

Player housing is pretty flagrant as well. That could come back to bite them, too.

Oh it's true, I have posted this for awhile now in my short TD career. I am good freinds with some ex-players, and if you wanted a car, all you had to do was go get it. when the gas was out, got dirty, or just wanted another, you trade it in. No documents or ownership, just go grab the keys and drive it off the lot. it was pretty widly know.

Now I am not sure if the NCAA will catch this because they are essentially loaners or test drives with no docs to back it up.

Yahoo sports has a big story, but it is NOT about CAM and Auburn... In fact the original post said he was working on two stories and one would come out in August. In fact, the writer indicated that it was NOT from the SEC, most folks think Texas... If anyone had any information on CAM, they would publish it now to keep others from getting it first.

Keep the dream alive, go post some more on ATPB..

How did "Da U" not make the top 5? They were on probation 3 years, 1 year bowl ban and lost 24 scholarships in the 90s.

The one thing that gives me pause admittedly about Auburn though is the NCAAs willingness to clear Cam so quickly (less than 24 hours) when he was suspended.

Or, you know, the fact that no one has anything on us.

I believe you, but count yourself fortunate that there are not more OSU fans here or else you would get mocked for that. Any time anyone says they know someone "inside" another program people from that fanbase come out from everywhere claim BS.

(I've seen your posts enough to know you aren't FOS, though)

They won't accept that Ross. We're the devil's advocate of CFB.
