I'm definitely not a homer on here, which is more than i can say for other you. There may be a bunch of Bama fans on this site, but most arent that big of homers.

the fact that scott ran all over yalls d.

no he didnt. he had a good game, but by no means did he run all over our D. He didnt even break 100 yards.

he had 99 yards and could have had more. I should have actually said him and kw would have ran all over utah.

as a team we rushed for 213 yards and yalls d is clearly better than utahs. we would have smashed them up front. We were pretty beatin up by the end of the year but a month off and we were fine in our bowl.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Call it what you want. I think Les has us ready and we beat Utah.. do you have anything that suggests he wouldn't have??

See here's what I don't get. First all I hear from you gumps, and Osama bin Saban, that your team didn't want to be there etc etc. Now you were there and gave it your all, therefore LSU couldn't have beaten Utah. Which is it?

Your team chemistry was blown b/c your best offensive player was eating doughnuts and spending his soon to be NFL money.

Yeah, LSU's secondary was not that good last year, and would've gotten destroyed by Utah's passing game.

i doubt their d would have stopped us though. This is assuming we are smart enough to line up and run scott and williams all game down their throat.

Great, ok so I disagree with that. Do you mind asnwering the question about if your team played or not?

I mean with all the fireworks you were right there. Did you mail it in or get beat by a bunch of two stars? I think LSU wins and I have history on my side.

Secondary by bowl game was not the same secondary by the start of the year. Half of it was new. Chad Jones started his first game at FS and PAtrick Peterson was Cb by mid-season.

Will you please quote me saying that we lost because we "didnt show up"? Thats what I thought. While I dont think that we played up to our potential, I still think that Utah was the better team and was better coached.

As a Vol fan I have watched many "underachieving seasons. I honestly felt we had the talent to win a National Championship in 1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005, and maybe 2006. Thanks Phil.

I didnt say you said it, I said many gumps still say it.

Anyway, I've made my point and don't think your lame comment about me "staying on the Tiger Rant" was justified.

I still say bammer lost b/c your offense was lost with out Smith.

You're right, I was just flaming.

I agree with you that Smith not being there was one reason, but they made scoring on our defense look like a walk in the park.

How about a 6-6 Bama squad? Or were you guys in most of those 6 games?

Is this serious? Because if it is

-UGA in OT
-LSU, AU, ULM, State, and Florida State were all 4th quarter losses by a touchdown or less.

For everyone wanting to say Lsu would have beaten Utah...they had a passing game.. one of yalls big weaknesses last year. I think they beat yall. And Bama would most likely have killed Ga. Tech. Bama's strong suit on defense was stopping the run and that's all Ga Tech had.

It woulda been a good game. But they may have kept your D on the field for a bit, not givin your O a chance much. They had pretty good speed.

they still wouldn't have been able to stop our o when it did get on the field. as long as we ram the ball down their throat they would have no answer.

yall should have just done that to them but yall came out flat and not caring much like LSU did in the cap1bowl in 04.
