Lattimore will live up to the hype again

I agree. Barring injury he'll do it again next year too. Than light it up on sundays. If ya'll are going to win an SEC championship you better hurry up and do it while he's dressing out.

Let's just completely ignore his production last year, then. Only other circumstances matter.
? How am I ignoring his production? Two of the people I put in front of (Knile and Lattimore) out-performed him last year. The only person who put less numbers up than him was Trent, and Trent was sharing runs with a Heisman winner. Trent will get a lot more carries this year and will also get to enjoy being behind an experienced veteran O-line. Couple that with the fact that there are a lot of unknowns in regards to Bama's QB situation and it's almost guaranteed he is going to get a significant amount more carries this year.
Dyer had a good(ish) year last year, but as I said before, he is coming back to an offense that is totally different, much less experienced, and doesn't have the luxury of having Cam.

O-line isn't young. They just don't have many starts.
You can play the semantics game with me all you want, but simply put it is an inexperienced O-line. I don't care about their age...in terms of experience they are "young".

You had a lot more experience in your o-line in '09.

I never said anything about Lattimore or Davis. I said that Ware shouldn't be listed ahead of Dyer. However, if you're going to say that Dyer's numbers were inflated by Cam Newton / last year's o-line, it should be noted that Davis ran the ball when everyone was always expecting Mallett to sling the ball all over the place. His numbers were inflated as much, if not more than Dyer's.
I never said that you did. I was simply defending my reasoning for putting them ahead of someone like Dyer. If you will go back and read you will see that you initially called me out for explaining why I didn't put Dyer up there and I cited your young, inexperienced offense. Nowhere was there any mention of a direct comparison between Dyer and Ware between us.
Oh, and I love your comparison of the impact that Mallett had in relation to Cam in regards to the opposing team. Mallett was a giant tree, incapable of moving, so any sort of rush defensive scheme would center around stopping our RBs (mostly Knile) and not Mallett. With Auburn, teams had to prepare for a run not only from Dyer but ALSO from Cam, meaning a lot less attention could be given to an individual player. There is a night and day difference.
In addition, it was pretty well-known towards the end of the season that Knile was a good running back. After 176 yards/3 TDs against Ole Piss and 110 yards/3 TDs against S. Carolina, I am pretty sure that M. State, LSU, and Ohio State were well aware of what Knile could do and planned accordingly. However, it still didn't matter because he had huge games against all of them as well.

1a) Davis
1b) Richardson
1c) Lattimore
Davis led rushers last year even though he didn't become the featured back until game 5. Give him 4 more games this year, and he'll be tough to beat. Our lack of experience and depth on OL could still make it a close race.
Richardson is a beast behind a solid OL. Their defense wins championships approach could keep him from claiming the top spot.
Lattimore's fate depends on whether The Good Garcia shows up more often than The Bad Garcia. He netted 30 yards against us at SC last year. We play at Ark this year, and our rush defense should be better. (Yes, he didn't appear to be focused on our game last year with the FL game looming on the horizon, but he was still only averaging 2.7 ypc when they took him out).

I'll sum this up.. Every LSU fan picks Spencer Ware, every Arky fan picks Knile Davis, every Auburn fan picks Dyer, every South Carolina fan picks Marcus Lattimore, and every Bama fan picks Trent Richardson.
I'll go:
1) Marcus Lattimore
2) Trent Richardson
3) Knile Davis
4) Michael Dyer
5) Spencer Ware

Your reading comprehenson fails you. You really think Dyer is going to PRODUCE more THIS year behind YOUR Oline than Ware behind OUR Oline? Come on Towel.

Yeah, those guys must be crazy to think that the leading RB in the SEC last year might have another good year! Freaking homers and their logic!

Our offense will look a lot like 2009. Cam Newton had over 250 carries last season, over 250 carries (264 to be exact). Dyer only had 182 and was never our first option when on the goaline. He'll get a lot more touches this season, and he will also get all the goaline touches. Plus, a Gus malzahn offense has never rushed for under 2,500 yards in a season. That's pretty amazing, and he's still our OC. I have no worries. Dyer is bigger, stronger, and faster than he's ever been. He's about to become our workhorse.
ETA: Plus, Spencer Ware only had 175 yards on the season last year. He had one good game and is getting all this hype. Dyer had more yards against Ole Miss alone.

I look for Davis to go for 2,400 and 27 TD's.
Minimum.

I'm gonna hang around for this

I'm gonna be called crazy(or something else) here and IDC.
1. Trent Richardson- gotta give him the nod given talent, experience, and an offense fit for a heavy rushing attack.
2. Spencer Ware- call me a homer. Veteran Oline, run heavy offense, multi-deminsional back, and a group of Backs to keep the wear and tear off of just him. A veteran Oline is something Ark and Auburn are in severe lack of.
3. I drop Lattimore for the same reason I bumped Ware. Group of backs to take over when the day is done. Lattimore rushed 40 times in a game or two. That's going to take a toll on a young back and could lead to injuries. He is a load, but for some reason I see Garcia regressing and it will eliminate the Alshon threat. Leaving only Lattimore.
