Top 15 Players in the SEC - Ranked by REBEL5 AC
I love these self serving lists of "ranked" players. Guarantee if healthy all year DL Johnathan Bullard of UF will drafted in the NFL hight than some on your lists and probably LB Antonio Morrison will be there. But enjoy your lists....how long before season starts? Geez. Hargreaves may be the first SEC player taken in draft.

Keep telling yourself that, darling.

Robert will be the #1 draft pick this upcoming draft, sooooooooo....

So you're telling me that if he was a 3* and had the exact same career up to this point he'd be anything other than just another guy?
He's an average SEC DT. Maybe he'll have a big year this year.

If he stays healthy, he's on pace to be a top 10 NFL draft pick in the 2017 draft, yet he's not a top 10 player in the SEC? Rethink your list, bro.
I highly doubt CamRob will stay till his senior year.

Seriously, are you that fricking stupid? Why the hell would I rank a 1-15 and then literally right below that, give my observations of what is wrong?

He plays defensive tackle. Not exactly a position where you get a lot of sacks.
True, but for a guy who is being ranked in the top 20 players in the SEC, I'd expect his production to outshine others at his position. It almost seems as though he's being ranked based on what people think he should be able to do, versus what they've seen him do.
Harold Brantley at Mizzou recorded 54 tackles and 5 sacks.
Montravius Adams at Auburn recorded 41 tackles and 3 sacks.
Jarran Reed, who isn't an every down player for Alabama, recorded 54 tackles.
Taiwan Johnson at Arkansas had 26 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
Jonathan Bullard at Florida recorded 52 tackles and 2 sacks.
A'shawn Robinson at Alabama recorded 50 tackles in 11 games.
Robert Nkemdiche had 35 tackles and 2 sacks.

If he was a 3* then he wouldn't have the same kind of production or get the attention he does from other teams.

Dude has 4 sacks in 2 years, and a total of 36 tackles.
Want to know how I know that you know nothing about football?

You mean this isn't what happened? That's too bad, this possibility was the only thing that made this thread remotely interesting.

So he gets All-American and All-Conference votes because he was good in high school? He gets those votes over his peers who supposedly preform better than him because he was a 5*? Is that how it works for every postion? Is Kimmy special? Do people who vote for that shite just ignore DTs all together and vote for a name they remember?

You can't be serious...can you? Dude, there is a reason none of those guys get the press Nkemdiche does.
I'll give you a clue why Nkemdiche is highly regarded by NFL scouts, they don't google other players names and compare stats...they actually watch film.

Cam Robinson should be way higher than that. Shut down Garrett and Dante Fowler last year as well as held his own versus Joey Bosa the few times he went against him.
Garrett was ok in SEC play while Barnett played pretty well.

Edited that post to be more clear. He had a total of 35 tackles last year.
Please share with me how you know I know nothing about football to think a guy with only 35 tackles shouldn't be ranked the #1 player in the SEC, when he doesn't rank top 5 at his own position?

Well to be fair OJ Howard got a lot of preseason pub last year based off of recruiting hype and one play against LSU.

So we're supposed to objectively rank players based on how good they look in uniform and how good their footwork looks while they're not making tackles?
How else are we supposed to rank them - if we aren't looking at stats and comparing to other players at the same position in the same conference?
Nkemdiche doesn't produce. Blame it on whatever you want.
He gets the press because he was the #1 ranked player in the country coming out of high school. He's been a bust so far.
