It was a Camry with solid gas mileage. We stopped twice to top off the tank but probably could have made the entire trip just stopping once halfway for gas.

Me and flying...not so much.

Only when I have to.

You are one of those...

Call me the complete opposite. I can't sit in a car for hours on end.

When did XNA start flying direct to Miami.. If I was a student I'd be using this route and Las Vegas often...

I own a 2007 V8 Tundra.

Probably would be cheaper for me to fly.

Hunting in Arkansas is a very big deal.

I believe you, but it's the same way in many other southern states.

We hunt here too, and Taladega always falls on a football weekend, but I've never heard it used for an excuse, which was why I thought it was creative. But ok.

Probably so.

I drive a Durango and my gas mileage is horrible. I try to never take that thing outside of the city if I can help it.

It is the same way throughout the rest of the south. The difference is people get lazy because they can still make 2 Little Rock games a year instead of driving to Fayetteville form the rest of the state.

To easy to say.. 1. It's South Carolina (Ark is a lukewarm feel towards them) 2. I can easily start opening weekend hunting and hit the next little rock or Fayetteville game.

If this was Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss etc.. The excuse doesn't apply. Its the cluster of a few put together. South Carolina always falls in deer season.

Thank goodness Duck Season doesn't screw with Football or we would have a serious problem in Arkansas, ha.

However, I bet radio sells in Arkansas are fantastic, ha.

$363.92 for me.

From your town of Blythewood, SC to Fayetteville, AR and back to Blythewood.

1852 total miles at 75mph is 24.693 hours...

Nope, I'm not splitting it with friends to sit in a car with them for 24 hours. Put me in a chair in the sky for sanity alone.

Stadium will be full you'll see on TV.

There is less than 2,000 tickets and most of those are from you know who.

Depends on what your MO is at that given time...

Balcony view at the Wynn or Treasure Island with your idiot friends.

Go Baller or Go Drunk it's your choice, ha. Not a bad choice to have for a weekend get away directly from Campus.

Good thing I'm only two hours from New Orleans.

I've been up to N.O five times since the semester started.

I'm just fricking with you. We would probably have empty seats in the visitor's upper deck area just as well during this game.

I'm sure it'll be full and loud, and I plan on making the trip up there in two years. Just don't have the moolah this year.

NOLA is a great city but Burbon street isn't the same when you are in college and then when you are out of college.

When we had our "walkout" at the Fraternity house I got us all buses and we when to NOLA to party our freshmen year for the weekend. However, as soon as we got back it was back to being bitches, ha.

Good ole times.

Think outside the box my man if it's with the lady. If it's with your retard friends.. 2 Hours from NOLA is a great thing to have.

You should come you'll have a great time. More and more people get to Fayetteville than ever before.

We didn't have messages boards, youtube or google when I was in school. When someone said road trip to MSU or Ole Miss.. well we just packed and went not having a clue what to expect.

A whole different world back then.

Honestly, I'm just impressed Arkansas has raised so much money and sold as many tickets this year with the economy. Matter of fact any southern state that has is impressive.

We partied on Bourbon on the summer and didn't really like it. New policies have made it harder to drink and the strip clubs weren't all that great. Downtown NOLA is a great place to take a date, I'm sure. It's the only city around with nationally aclaimed restaurants, high end shopping, etc.

Uptown NOLA is the shite, though. Slutty Tulane girls are much different from the tradional SEC/southern schools and the alcohol flows pretty easily.
