I was just messing, LSU is SEC baseball, I grew up with Big Ben McDonald and Bertman running the sport.

The only reason they won it last year is because the opponent they faced has a long history of choking in big games.

The hot bat era was crazy and lsu capitalized on it with great hitters. Those bats were lethal and as fun as it was to watch it’s a wonder some players didn’t get seriously hurt by some of those hits.

Not taking away from what lsu did but they did it better than anyone else and deserved what they got. Gorilla ball was born back then and for a reason.
