was going to happen anyways. Auburn still has a good class on defense and the only players we would have to worry about decommitting our the small fast players

According to a few folks on here. That is everyone, because it's all about the speed.

I could see this coming a mile away; his firing is not that shocking.

You guys will make a grave mistake if you write them off. You still haven't played them yet,nor beaten them since 2001.

This is 2008,not 1978.

Without a doubt. The Saban effect is hitting and it will be bad. Auburn may put togehter some form of an offense and still beat Alabama in two months but beating Alabama is about to be a thing of the past for Auburn.

I understand all the reasons that he should have stayed, but anyone who thought he'd make it to year 2 was fooling themselves.

So where does Auburn go now? It'll be interesting to see how they play Saturday against Arkansas.

I don't have a clue where we are going. We might see a return of the dreaded Nall-ball of 2003...

IMO, this Arkansas game tells the story about the rest of our season. If we play bad in this game, we might be taking a trip down to Shreveport this year.

Who's going to run the offense? Will they go back to the power offense they used until this year?

Ranked dead last in the SEC in offense and near last in the entire Football Bowl Subdivision in offense. When your offense comes to the point where it is actually losing games for you, even when your defense plays lights out, you have a major problem. I agree it hurt to fire him, but we really cannot do any worse this year when it comes to statistics.

Shouldn't Alabama actually do that once before its a foregone conclusion for 10 years ?

Saban is not Bear;as much as you guys want to pretend and fantasize that he is,he isn't.

Tubberville is getting loads of blame on this by me. I blame him and Tony Franklin equally for the state our team is in right now.
