Iron Bowl basketball has come along way from the games in the 40s of just a few years ago.

Grant v. Barbee = first to 50 usually wins. Such awful basketball.

Alabama does a good bit of this. We didn't really have to last night though because LSU is such a poorly coached defensive team that as soon as any of our players drove into the paint the only decision he had to make was which wide open teammate to kick out to.

Is this what we want basketball to be?

Yes.

Hit the 3 or drive to the hoop , play fast and play solid D on both ends of the court to create opportunities . Rinse, repeat.

FIFY.

Playing like that while shooting 55% is almost unfair.

Sounds like the three ball is making the game boring. I used to be a big fan of basketball, for whatever reason I barely follow it now.

Well maybe it sucks for you being on the losing end, but our fan base is fired up and enjoying the hell out of it. Thanks for your concern.

Dane Bradshaw was talking about Oats' practice regimen of hitting 80 3-pt shots in a 5 minute period, and if they didn't hit that mark, they had to do it again. That's a brilliant stroke by what looks to be a great coach. Not relying on "shooters" but rather willing multiple players to improve their shot from all areas of the floor. Kudos to your AD for finding that guy. That team is straight killing it from behind the arc. Bama is gonna be a tough out with that level of consistency shooting from multiple positions.

Seemed like all of the red misses came in the last 7 minutes of the game.

Those were the worst basketball ever played in this league.
