there may be a big difference from the best team and second best team too . The best team may not be the team you guys think.

Gotta be between 6 and 8 teams, because you need to include all the P5 champs + a wild card or three. It doesn't diminish the regular season one bit. I just don't see how a 1 vs. 8 would be unappealing in a playoff, considering we already know how much of a buzz it'd get in the regular season.
But then again, I'm also in favor of a NIT-style 8-team tourney to go alongside the "real" playoffs, so maybe I'm just too much of a fanatic

It does show they probably got one and two right, but three and four most likely wrong.
Overall, it was a good result for this year.
But it does not change the fact there is an error in having four spots when you have five P5 conferences.
