Does the fact that the girl is 16 and Singleton-Manning is 18 going to have a big role if this does indeed go to court?
I know its a pretty big deal when an adult 18+ hits a minor.

That's up to the judge's discretion. Since she and Tobias were classmates, I doubt it makes that much of a difference.

Really.. it didn't matter that a friend of mine who on the night he graduated was caught with his GF was was almost 17..

There has got to be more to this story than is out there
If there was an incident like is being reported, and the cops didn't arrest him on the spot they need to be fired immediately
Any kind of domestic violence such as this always ends in an arrest
I wonder what this chick did to piss him off so bad, this is some real hood rat shite if even half of it is true

If it is true, there will be charges filed
As long as this is his first incident he will more than likely get a few years probation and community service out of the arse
At worst if the DA wants to make an example of him he could see some minor jail time (doubtful though)
He would have to keep his nose clean for the foreseeable future though or face some serious jail time

Charges were already filed. It doesn't have to be TRUE for charges to be filed.
If true and evidence is found to concur, then he gets convicted.

Sadly I am a lawyer, no such thing as true or not true, just what you can prove and cant prove, and who holds the leverage and in this case Singleton will have none

I had a girl try to accuse me of hitting her one time. Talk about a mess. So I usually want the whole story before I see accusations.
The girl I was with, got pissed due to a break up and started all that. Police even got involved. Once it was a given that she lied....let's just say she was in a good bit of trouble.
Girls can do and say some stupid shite to get back at guys. Pretty much all they have to do is say that somebody did something and then it is automatically true. It sucks.

But, in this case... they seem to have investigated and made an arrest. There is a difference in what happened with you (according to your post). The police did not find out that she had lied and made an arrest of Singleton.
Please note.. this isn't about the car.. Not yet. Dad and others involved with that have not been arrested.
