LSU was the better team on Nov. 3rd. But Alabama found a way to win. The better team doesn't always win.

And I also state that LSU by far has greatly underachieved expectations this year. It's hard losing 3 All American Caliber players to rules or injury.

Boasting about beating Mississippi State is a joke.
AJ leading a comeback in Death Valley was big time.

I'm fairly certain that was pertaining to your schedule prior to playing LSU. What happens after is irrelevant.

The only "wins" that count are on the scoreboard. The better team always wins. That is why we play the game.

So it's safe to say that the shoe is on the other foot?

Again, this thread is about Alabama's tough 3 game stretch, not about LSU's moral victory.

What a idiotic statement.. The better team doesn't always win. That is why they are called upsets.

Alabama is probably a better team this year then LSU. But they didn't play that way last Saturday.

Of course you're not getting a "mulligan." You have two losses. Scratch that, you're LSU two losses is nothing to y'all.

Alabama found a path to the end zone 3 times. On 2 of those drives, they just made us look silly.

LSU, despite piling up lots of great stats and chewing up lots of clock, only found the path to the end zone twice.

If you think that adds up to "We were the better team!" then I can't help you.

You can see every last one of the trees but the Forrest escapes you.

The inability to finish drives has been a problem all season long. We gave the ball back to Auburn, A&M and Carolina in the 4th quarter of all of those games instead of finishing out the drive and locking up certain victory. In all of those games, we gave the other team hope by giving them the ball back one last time. It finally bit us in the arse.

The loss to Florida makes the mulligan an extremely unlikely possibility.

Except the first half. Kinda like how LSU was the "better team" in the second half last season.
