To those referring to the "Dawgs fans" in posts....

What is up with this huge generalization of the UGA fanbase?
Most normal UGA posters, like myself and others have never acted like some of you have claimed.
Did we toot our horn over recruiting the past few years...yes...and we should as every other fan base would.
But myself and most other UGA fans expected this to be a year with a lot of rebuilding. I know I did and I think I picked us 11-1 in regular season.
We showed up and looked like shite a few times this year....was that Kirby or the players? trust me we are concerned with Richt's history.
I think its both and I think most average UGA fans will tell you we have a long way to go but the generalizing of our entire fanbase as a bunch of blind morons hopeless following Kirby off a cliff is just bullshite and is laughable.
Let me spell it out:
We are excited abt recruiting and that should be expected and is not arrogant as we will finish yet again in the top 2. We all have those fans who thinks that means field success and obviously I hope they learned something over the past few years.
We do not think we are alabama and never have.
We do think we are the best team in the East and we are until someone steps up.
We are all questioning kirby and his calls in some key games this year and are also concerned abt the motivation of players in the 2 awful Loses this season.
We know it will be hard for us to win another natty as long as saban is at alabama and we continue to underachieve. But this goes for ALL SEC teams.
We see UF and UT making moves to get back into it which only makes it harder.
Most normal UGA fans feel this way and are the majority.
We lost to Texas...they have a good football team and our team and coaches just got beat. Give them credit. Was it a fluke Or was it like the LSU game where its becoming a trend? I'm leaning towards a fluke based on how we played in the SEc title game, but Who knows. We 100% see it and are not blind as it is a concerning trend so far in the smart era.
No one is saying Kirby is the guy to get us a natty, but like all of you , we are hopeful.

It's all part of the cycle of tRant. Teams that lose embarrassingly get shite for it until the next teams loses in a more embarrassing fashion. Unfortunately for us, its the end of the year and makes for a long off season. The good news is, most of the fans talking smack are Auburn fans and they know deep down in their heart of hearts they are our bottom bitch and always will be.

but, no. You are wrong. Georgia beats them both regularly. Well, Auburn regularly, and Oklahoma in the playoffs. but that was a semi-decent guess, I guess.

Relax, it's the Rant. UGA fans are great by and large.
That disiniterested laydown was largely gutless, it hurt SEC bowl tally, and gives Texas/Herman better sell to expedite his program building. Thus, schools that recruit Texas, like ATM, Bama, LSU, OU,etc..have fans that get aggravated and blast Kirby for not having his troops ready to go last night.

When you go more in depth into these records the similarities are almost carbon copies of each other.
Georgia fans absolutely should be happy with the recruiting. They should be happy with the domination of the East. But, heading into years 4 and 5 Kirby really needs to separate himself from Richt as far as the record and results go or people are going to continue to compare them. That is just reality.
