Both teams have fought to represent each side in the annual Champ Game, and play in the BCS NCG, but whether Bama or UGA wins, it is historic in it's own right. All I hope for today is an entertaining hard-fought game from both teams, an all out battle with the end result being one opponent rising out of the ashes and dust victorious. I look forward to seeing the athletes in UGA's front 7 against Bama's NFL caliber OL and Bama's blitz scenes with our LB's (some of the best in the country) and some of UGA's LB's (also some of the best) attacking the opposing offenses. I wish the Dawgs all the best today as we battle it out and hope for an injury-free game. I expect it to be pretty close and well worth the watch. So have a good day today and good luck both teams are gonna need it

This. And as much as I hate to admit it, luck (a turnover at an inopportune time, a missed field goal, any number of things) may well determine the outcome. Should be fun. Roll Tide!

It will be the 7th year in a row that an SEC team will be in the BCS CG

7 straight wins if they win (and let's face it, both teams are equally much more talented than ND)

Some of you UGA posters tell my UGA friends on the team forum (particularly the UGA rec board, whom I miss) that I wish them all the best today, and if you could post what I wrote I would greatly appreciate it

BWB: Here's to one hell of a dawgfight! I'm with you on the injuries... whoever comes out of this one needs to be healthy enough to curbstomp the irish back into irrelevance.

Cause the winner will play Notre Dame. If it's UGA, we have the rematch for our last MNC game. If it's Bama, then it would be a game with 2 of the most decorated teams of all-time....

Thirteen question marks worth of incredulity. You really don't think this is historic.
