Best post I've read on here in a LONG while.

Hope you're doing well man! We've butted heads before and came out just fine... perhaps Tillman can do the same... I don't hold out a lot of hope.

i don't see how Nashville would be that big of a draw unless you are a country music fan.

Vandy's location within Nashville isn't ideal either.

None of those other college towns are next to a lake or near the Blue Ridge.

You're fricking kidding me right?

Vandy is an actual city.
It has nightlife.

It's probably the only school in the conference I would call a college town.

This article debunks the 'Big Switch' theory that Democrats use to whitewash their party's horrible history on race.

Any town with bars and young people has a night life. lol

The cool thing about Clemson it is mostly Clemson students downtown....not a bunch of older people like you would find in a big city.

Most people at Clemson go to parties rather than bars.

Nashville is a fugly city in my view. Don't see what the big deal is.

Esso tends to have a little more older people than the average bar at Clemson. Probably b/c it has a better parking situation.

why do you think players from other states like Florida come to Clemson.

Because you've been a damn good football team that has showed that not only can you win titles, you can prepare a kid for the Pros.

18 year olds that want to play in the NFL (the caliber players you get) do not look at 2 things, Scenery or Academics.

If a recruit is more of an urban person, they probably won't have a problem with UT's campus.

Knoxville is Urban?

shite I must have a different definition.

Then again I guess I do. I don't even find Cola to be "urban" Its a college town IMO.
Yea I know it's the capital, but without USC it really doesn't bring much to the table.

pretty much every P5 college has sent kids to the pros.

Clemson was considered mediocre by a lot of people until the past few years.

I never said scenery, lake was the only factor or that it matters to every recruit.

See there you go latching on to one statement made in jest... failing to address anything of substance for fear of looking like an imbecile.

3 kids out of chinese prison... Seems like China came out ok on this trade...

3 Koreans held in N. Korea... legitimately haven't heard about this one, but given the actual perceived outcome of that meeting... again, would say seems like Korea came out just fine.

Embassy moved to Jerusalem... I'll be the first to admit, I've pretty much ignored this entire story line because of the hyperbole from both sides about how monumental it was and how poor of a decision... I assume the truth is somewhere in the middle. Not sure why any of that has to do with KKK/Nazis, as it's not like he was going to get rid of our Israeli Embassy.

Black unemployment is at all time lows.

A trend that started long before he got in office. Literally no rate change from the previous administration. Congrats on the coattail ride... it's amazing how that stuff works.

If he was enacting meaningful changes, I'd be all about it, but as of yet, I've not seen anyone point to anything that he's "accomplished" that has been impressive in a positive way. Lot of glittery/shiny shite which every politician is apt to point to, but nothing terribly substantive that has been positive yet. Perhaps that changes, but at this point, I don't believe we have a lot of reason to believe it will.

You're right.

And I don't think any SEC school is in a big city.

I wouldn't.

It was around the top in the ACC and sent a lot of good players. It has a history/pipeline to the NFL regularly in the top 10-15 the last 15-20 years or so.

Liberals say Trump is 'literally Hitler'. Yet he has a better relationship with Israel than Obama did.

Why would 'literal Hitler' be friendly with Israel.

Trump does a lot of stuff to puncture the left's false narratives about him.

It is funny that you call him a racist while he pardoning all of these minorities. or get them out of prisons in foreign countries. .

He is making you look like a crazy person. Trump had a black father at his rallies whose son was murdered by an illegal immigrant. I never had heard of this murder until Trump highlighted it. How many liberals care about this?

If calling Republicans racist was an effective strategy, why has the Democratic lost so many elections the last 10 years. The Democratic party right now is the weakest it has been since the 1920s.

My screenname is based on the iconic clock tower building at Clemson which is a symbol of Clemson. I didn't name the building. lol

Buildings aren't racist. only people can be racist.

i agree on Charleston. but it does have the beach.

Another positive of Clemson is it is 40 minutes to downtown Greenville, which is like a big college town.

I'd be surprised if Dabo and the other coaches don't talk up Greenville too when they are recruiting.

wasn't SC putting a lot of players in the NFL during the Spurrier years?

It seems like SC was stacked on defense especially back then.
