1. LSU staying at 6
2. Acknowledgment USC schedule at this point weak sauce
3. Bama staying in front of Clemson helps vols profile and makes it that much harder for 1 loss ACC champ to enter discussion
4. Rece gives pollack the business reminding him vols “beat lsu senseless on their own field” and shouldn’t get in over vols even if they upset UGA
5. Big blue nation took a big blue loss

If LSU wins in ATL, they 1000% jump UT. Your fight will be with UGA.

100% if LSU wins out they are in.
Yes. Tennessee you crushed them at home
But. LSU beat at the time a top 10 ole miss and Bama team and then if they beat number 1 georgia(who crushed Tennessee) LSU would be in.

USC and LSU still have ranked opponents to play. Tennessee needs both of them to lose.

This is all pointless until the last week of the regular season.

Multiple teams on the cusp of the #4 spot will be playing in a de facto playoff game and Tennessee will be sitting at home watching as the 2nd best team in their own division. Does that mean they have no shot? No. But if you really don’t think the committee won’t be looking at that than you are delusional.

Rece Davis: "And there was no doubt that while Tennessee is coming, and Tennessee is good, and Tennessee might well be a playoff team by the end of this crazy football season, there is one thing that is beyond dispute: Tennessee ain't Georgia and they're not even close."...

Here’s the deal, no one wants to see a Tenn-Ga rematch.

LSU would be hot and have just beaten number one. It’s just the way it is. Tennessee needs to win the games that count. Division opponents count more.

This is also true. They’d stick TN at #3 or #5 before giving a GA-TN semi final rematch. It’s not an attractive pick.
