Well frankly, the series really hasn't been all that competitive in the last 12 years or so, anyway. Save the LSU rebuilding years of 08 & 09, there just hasn't been much for Bama to cheer about in this series.
True- backing in to a BCS Title Game has a way of soothing some hurt, but Bama is in VERY realistic, serious danger of losing four straight games to LSU.
