There is a difference between being confident and being arrogant. Some of the Bama fans understand that, some don't.

I wouldn't even call it arrogant. It's a football pretentiousness and elitist attitude.
Arrogant is "we're gonna beat your arse." Even LSU fans are talking that kind of trash.
Bama is, with pinky up "pshhh, why are y'all playing the game, don't you know we're Alabama?"
It makes it even worse because of the state of the average Bama fan, a backwoods redneck. This is all most of you have. It's sad really.

Well while you are not being "arrogant" and are just good, just remember it took alot of cheating and ref help for you to even be relevant anymore. Before that yall were on probation and preaching about 12 or 13 (whichever number yall made up each time) NCs and rising again some day.

I will give you our schedule is weak by normal standards this year. But just once??? Come on. For starters, the SEC isn't what it has been the last few years but that's not our job to keep them competitive. There was once a time where people said "you deserve to play for the NC if you get through your SEC schedule. But we generally open with a high octane starter, play the SEC west + UT + another sec east team... plus seccg if we make it PLUS play off team.
Compare that to other teams year in and year out, it's unquestionably reasonable SoS.
But I give you this year, no doubt.
Just do some research about our last 10 year's worth of SoS before you act like we always play fluff schedules.

I travel the SEC area for work and meet fans from all the teams in real life.
On the internet, Bama has wonderful fans you can really talk football with. They know every player and even the other teams players.
On the internet, most other fan bases are a little wackier than Bamas.
In real life, every SEC fan/grad are more similar than they are different. They light up when they hear I went to LSU and have a very macro conversation with me about how they would like to attend an away game sometime and broad strokes about our season and theirs.
In real life, Bama fans are the most arrogant and weird. Bama football (one sport only) is above everything in their life. I think this is where the rumor stems.
*Note, I dont actually cover Kentucky but every other state in the SEC, yes.

You are correct, Alabama is the best team in the country and they are crushing everyone. But you are not unbeatable, no one is unbeatable. It doesn't matter what you think, it doesn't matter what I think, It doesn't matter what the media thinks. It might not be tomorrow, it might not be next week. But if the Alabama players and or coaches take the approach and have the opinion that they cannot be beaten. That is exactly when they will get beat. I am 50 years old and have been watching college football for over 35 years and it never fails. As soon as team starts getting anointed as this great unbeatable team they will get beat, it always happens.
