I don't know, it's one of those things that would become funny to me over time if teams kept doing it even when Bama was going 8-5.

Teams that have won national championships should never storm the field for beating a team. Act like you have been there done that before.

So glad Gators have never stormed the swamp.

No rushing the field was about beating Saban not Bama. With the exception of Saban, Tennessee has the best history of beating Bama. Rushing the field was about beating him. You should expect to beat your rivals and not be in a spot where you rush the field for doing what you should do, which is win at home

Those students rushing the field never really knew the Vols (or really any other team) beating the Tide or beating the Tide on a regular basis. Good for them.
