I think geography for 90% of the schools is overblown. Sec travels well regardless if it's too tamu or Florida, and the teams can afford the extra few miles flying. Florida and sc in the east, tamu in the west, and the rest can be reshuffled. Like the ops grouping

Reshuffled how? We've seen North/South as well as a complete random draw of who/where. 1 even put same-state schools in opp. divisions.

You are going to have 4 winners of each division who will claim they should get a shot at the SEC. Why not have 1 play 4 and 2 play 3 and see what happens. It is 1 more game and when the Big 10, Pac 10, Big 12, ACC all do the same we will end up with a 20 team playoff.

I'm not reading this whole thread now, but anyone who suggests that having Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee in the same division should be throat punched.


You can't rearrange the divisions every few years because some traditional powers are in a down period.
