You're right.

We need more Bama threads.

What we need are fewer threads where the OP is looking for people to agree with him without ever overtly stating his opinions. Too many people around here start threads for ego stroking purposes rather than to stimulate an actual discussion. I would take Tebow over Mallett as long as he could walk BTW.

What SEC qb would you rather have as your starter and the leader of your team?
Tebow is the only answer. Anyone who says otherwise is lying or retarded.

It's a soap opera in the making.

It may be 3 weeks off your radar, or not at all, but just before and after the votes are cast it will be a hot topic here.

As for some Arkansas fans, or maybe just me, it pisses me off already.

Mallett will be the next casualty of the Tebow hype and most of you son's of bitches have, would, or will complain about the same thing if in the same position.

bingo... plus the only reason mallet is even in discussion is his yardage. he's had 100 more pass attempts. Tebo is definitely better and deserving of 1st Team ALL SEC QB.

He has more TD's and the #3 QB rating in America.

Nice try.

I'd be complaining more about being 6-4 than one of our players getting passed over for a stupid postseason award.

why does it piss you off so badly? Do you really think Mallet is better deserving that Tebow to the point is pisses you off and claim Tebow is nothing but hype?

It does not matter who the better QB is, it matters who played better this year, right? This year Mallett has a more impressive resume than Tebow, hands down.

I actually pointed this out in preseason. All that most Arky fans would talk about is how many passing yards they would have.

They ignored me when I asked them how many their defense would be giving up.

Quote me. I said Tebow was "nothing but" hype?

He is good, but his numbers aren't better than Mallett's.

Better pro potential does not equal better college QB. Ryan Mallett is not better than Tebow this year just like Matt Stafford wasn't better than Tebow last year.

Are stats the only gauge of a qb's ability?

Was Colt Brennan the greatest QB in the history of forever?

For the purpose of awarding All-SEC honors, 9 out of 10 times.

Tebow also has 600 rushing yards. Which makes him a dual threat QB......which makes his value SKYROCKET.

Mallett's feet are cemented in the ground.

Tebow is going to be the first team QB, just accept it. It doesn't matter who has more total TDs or more yards, it matters that Tebow has won more games and is the QB of the #1 team and is one of the more highly publicized players ever.

That's because offensive numbers > defensive numbers
