Im sure it wasn't intimidating at all from the confines of your double wide. Probably explains your affinity for the swamp

If so, please tell me why LSu's winning % against Alabama is better in Tuscaloosa that it is in Red Stick?...just asking.

Hell, Alabama's winning % in BR is better than LSU's is against ALL opponents.....that's incredible.

Im not denying what has happened in the Bama/LSU games- pretty crazy actually. Im just saying that on the boards people say its overrated ect, but the players/coaches who actually come here and play (even bama players/coaches who have won in TS) say its a tough place to play and one of the best in the country. There's no denying that.

Hurts looked like shite minus 2 or 3 runs. If we had any semblance of quick pass game out of the shotgun we win that thing by 3 TDs.

I totally agree, LC. That's why I always take pause when I hear the talk about it.

It also has a lot to do with how stadiums have expanded over the last 10 or so years. Once upon a time 92,000 would've put you in the top 5 of all college stadiums. Now 100K barely gets you in the top 10. These kids are exposed to big stadiums from jump, especially in the SEC.

No, he didn't. He wasn't accurate at times, but he made some very good throws to get us out of tight situations.

He had some bad misses and looked confused for most of the night whenever he dropped back. If he hits on a few of those Bama wins by 3 TDs. He looked every bit like a freshman quarterback hence the 59.0 QBR. On the flip side, Etling finished with a 5.7. I didn't even know QBRs could be that low.

I would say it's because of LSU's defense. The crowd had no effect on Alabama's offense.

I'm not sure how these posts make any sense. The kid made the plays with his feet when he needed to. No one is disputing that. The "kicked your shite in" comment is just typical Gump. Your defense? Absolutely. Your offense? frick no man.

Dumb shite. since 2000 LSU and Alabama are 9-9. 5 of the LSU wins were at Alabama. Guess that makes it Tiger Stadium East. Stupidest shite ever

The INT was an overthrow. There was another overthrow to the same side, but the WR wasn't open. LSU's defenders did a good job of tipping 2 or 3 short passes. 2 passes around the red zone was thrown OOB because the receiver was covered. He threw away the ball from his own endzone when the corner ws blitzing. But he made some really good throws near the sideline when we needed him to. Also, the deep pass that he completed was a great throw.

If a player is going to be affected by the crowd, it will be when he's trying to call the play, get everyone set, changing the play at the line, and at the snap. He looked extremely comfortable and calm through all of that.

Yeah. It's obvious that teams who are accustomed to playing in big time stadiums, perform better than the other teams.

So like I said, he made some plays. Not sure what we're even arguing about at this point.
