Textbook targeting. Was surprised that it wasn't reviewed. As much as I dislike Alabama and Saban, he was right in this instance

Textbook targeting was the hit on Max earlier. The hit on Young was just a good hit, straight from the shoulder. Not our fault Young doesn't know how to slide or get ready for contact like that.
I swear all of a sudden every stumble bum fan is a Constitutional lawyer and applying statutory interpretation canons to the rule book when they see a hard hit.

Tf are you talking about. His shoulder was the first thing to make impact. HIs entire body was positioned crooked to have his shoulder leading. Not to mention it hit Young's shoulder pads first.

That gets reviewed and confirmed several times a week throughout Saturday, but the refs were pretty consistently terrible all around last night

Led with the shoulder and the side of the helmet made contact, not the crown. Helmet to helmet on a runner isn't a penalty. So funny when people don't know the rules and try to enforce them.
