You will probably post this same thread for the Bama game.

Both calls were 100% legit. The first he got mauled so he couldn’t break into his route and the second he held his right arm so he couldn’t lift his arm to catch it. Both were blatant. Deal with the 9th loss to LSU in 12 years knowing you got beat at home fair and square.

If you're talking about the PI over the middle, they called it so because the AU defender held LSU's WR, stopping him from running to where the ball was going. I could see why it looked that way, but it was really more of a holding than a PI.

I really wonder if some of y'all read

I literally said in the OP maybe it was a hold but it definitely wasn't PI.

Then I say there was probably bad calls both ways. And yalls response is bad calls go both ways.

Lol, you’re blind.

ETA: Either way, the officiating for this game was downright terribly inconsistent for both sides. They threw some questionable flags, then ignored obvious penalties. Not to mention, the head ref couldn’t seem to get the correct number for who the penalty was against multiple times.

How are we going to maintain the proper level of irrational assholery if you keep being so rational and pleasant ? You take some time to think about how your civility may be affecting this board!

Misleading post. You are kind of blaming the officiating.

Both fourth quarter PI were legitimate.
1. Defender grabbed and held the receiver at his break to the inside. Probably holding as you suggest.
2. Corner held receiver's arm down.

Bonus question: Was that a caught pass, possession, and a couple of steps? A fumble recovery by LSU?
Bad, bad potentially game changing call.

LSU last TD was, well, just that, a TD.
We missed a field goal too.
And maybe the reason Auburn's offense seemed inept in the second half had something to do with LSU's defense.

No I'm not. I talked about two calls that everyone is talking about. But I also said calls go both ways. I can't think of specific instances where LSU got a bad call but I'm sure they were there. I'm a biased viewer so I have to assume they are there even if I don't see them. Good teams don't put themselves in positions where refs decide the game.

Can't comment. Didn't even know that was a thing till I got on the board today. If it's the play I'm thinking of it was on the opposite side of the field from me. They didn't show a replay in the stadium that I can remember.

I'm not taking away from LSU. I'm saying if we wanted to keep the refs decisions out of the game we should've executed on those opportunities and not left it up to them to call/not call those PIs at the end. LSU looked good and did what they had to do.

CLEARLY from that picture he was simply helping the LSU receiver find the ball by guiding his arm up to the ball. How can you think otherwise? Our defenders are just that generous.
Soft as gooey baby shite...but generous.

I didn't say that bad calls both ways, I said that I could see why it didn't look like a PI, but it definitely was. Try reading my post before you criticize me about literally the same thing.

Once again...

Aubbie saying they were robbed is a crock...

Refs got it right. Aubbies got it wrong.

Your 2nd possession was 100% fumble.

Yep but plainly recovered by the fumbler . First PI last drive was clearly holding. We got an extra 10 we didn’t deserve sorry

DB has a hold of receiver’s right arm preventing him from catching the ball. Does not matter where the DB is looking, it is PI under current rules. Other was defensive holding at minimum which is automatic first down, but you knew that already.

Y’all should ease off of the OP. He clearly said he was not one to blame a loss on the refs. After writing two paragraphs blaming the refs on plays he saw from 200 feet away.

On the last drive, the first PI call the ref threw the flag before the ball was even thrown so I don't know how it was PI

Also damn some Aubbies were melting in the stands. Getting pissed at LSU for celebrating a big W.

I was sitting in the visitor section with the LSU fans. Didn’t see any of this.
