Yes and no. If you look at the BCS years the Conference Championship Game has been a HUGE bonus to the conferences that play one, but the PAC 10 system is fairer to determine a "true" champ

That's what I was saying, fairer. Obviously the conference championship games are cash cows.

Cash cows and look at LSU's championships
03 LSU goes into CCG weekend trying to get an edge on USC. LSU plays a huge game against a top opponent and wins big pushing them over UF
07 LSU plays a big game against Tenn while USC is again playing a random game. LSU gets an edge and gets pushed over to the BCSCG

By what measure are you claiming Pac10 inferiority? I'm no Pac10 homer, but I respect what the different conferences offer.
