How many games would you have won with McElroy at QB this year? It sure wouldn't have been the one in Tiger Stadium. When our starting QB has not been kicked off the team and we have a QB who is not a RSFR throwing 4 INT's, we'll see if you can beat us in regulation. I think that you'll have a bit more trouble.
But, I'll do something that Alabama fans won't do. I'll give you respect for your win this year because you put the better team on the field on that Saturday. Congratulations. It really doesn't matter that we had to kick off our idiot starting QB, just like it doesn't matter that you were miserable because you were on probation for cheating and because you hired lousy coaches. The team on the field is the team on the field and all of the "we would have been good if we had not been so bad" excuses don't hold any water.
We'll see you next year. Until then, enjoy the pinnacle of your success when you beat Auburn next week. If you beat them.

Yet another example as to why the world hates Alabama fans. I gave you credit for winning and said you had the better team. Yet, you ignore all that to prove your indefensible point. An Alabama fan telling anyone else to "Get over it, you lost" is comical. We learned to make excuses about what we don't have from you.

As for winning 11 games without JPW, you clearly know nothing about football. He has been a steady hand and has not killed you with mistakes like he did last year. Throw someone inexperienced in there who throws interceptions and you have a whole different story. LSU has a great offensive line and running game as well, but we can't overcome the interceptions.
As for recruiting better back-ups, don't worry.

I hate the "rightful place" saying because we haven't been in the SECCG since 1999. I don't think we will get killed by UF like everyone wants to believe but whatever. I don't care who has been the best team over the past 15 years because all that matters is who is better on the 6th and I think our team has a legit shot at knocking off the Gators.
Some of the Bama fans have been talking alot of smack and rightfully so IMO because we have won the west. I don't care if certain teams have inexperience QBs because that doesn't affect what we have done so far this year. EVERYONE (except slidell tiger) said that Bama had NO CHANCE of winning the west this year. Now that we've won the west, people are saying wait til next year when we have an inexperience QB. I thought Bama fans were always the ones saying wait til next year? I'm still focused on this year and couldn't give a rat's arse about next year but when that time comes, I think McElroy will be fine.
