I agree. There's no way Alabama is going to overcome #2 in the nation, SEC Champions, another #1 recruiting class, preseason #2, and the GOAT walking the sidelines. No way.

Yeah. I agree. The GOAT lost one game. He forgot how to coach football.

He’s gonna lose that status awfully quick when he takes another pounding from Dabo again. He should limp away while he still can.

Dabo is well on his way to being the GOAT. Saban didn’t have near the accomplishments that Dabo has at his age.

I don't think most of us believe Saban is a washed up bum, though its fun to say it and watch as crying Bama fans come out of the wood work to defend him.

That having been said, the man looks tired. As every year goes by Saban looks more and more run down. By the second quarter of the NCG this year he looked worn out.

Being a head coach of a major college football team is a stressful job. Being the head coach of Alabama is even more stressful. At what point does Saban, who has more money then some third world countries, say to hell with this and ride off into the sunset?

Maybe he gets his second (or, as the case may be, fifth) win during the offseason and comes back better then ever. Maybe. But he's looking a lot more like Spurrier at the end of line at USC.

They were crowing Miles after the 2011 game, the Gus Bus after 2013, Meyer in 2014, and now Dabo in 2018. Saban out lasted the others and isn't going anywhere. He lost one game that got away from him in 11 seasons of dominating. While every other "great coach" loses games they shouldn't, and takes a beating here and there, often to Saban himself, the GOAT loses one game and you all act like the man has forgotten how to coach. You have nothing but wishful thinking.

Saban dominated Dabo just last season. Dabo also lost to Syracuse last season and almost lost to them again this season. That doesn't cancel out Saban getting beat by Dabo this season, but it does say something about Dabo and his consistency, which is something no one can touch over Saban in his last 11 seasons.

Dabo is a great coach, and his last game was his greatest coaching performance, but Saban has won 5 of the last 10 championships and is 2-2 versus Dabo in playoff games. Don't go crowning the man just yet.

The smell of Gump fear is permeating the chat room....it WILL be sooooo fun to watch next year. The decline is very REAL.

None of those coaches you named beat Saban twice in the national championship. They also didn’t have a freshman phenom at QB

If Alabama doesn’t recover an onside kick, Dabo is 3-0 vs Saban in national title games.

Saban’s tGOAT status may be short-lived.

Dabo will likely have a 3-peat on his hands by the time T-Law leaves.

Less than 90 seconds for an A&M fan to reference LSU in a bama thread

Word is Saban will be hiring Samuel L Jackson as an assistant coach. His job will be to coach the team to play with

Be honest. Did you think he looked tired and worn out as he threw Oranges into the crowd after dominating Oklahoma? Was he too tired as he chewed out guys in the 2nd qtr for stupid penalties?

What’s clear from many of these comments is that fans of other teams don’t really pay attention to Saban until it’s convenient for their talking points.

Saban generally does not rage on the sidelines when Alabama is losing. His sideline tirades are reserved for blowout wins when the Bama players start getting sloppy. Go back and watch Bama vs Clemson 2016 and show me the outbursts. You won’t find them.

You don't come back from a loss like this. Saban is Mack Brown and I just hope he doesn't drag the program down like Mack did Texas.
