imo this isn't a big deal but boom needs to distance himself from urbans lack of punishment by sitting easley for a game while this gets sorted out.

Seriously though, here's my opinion on the subject of punishment.
Right now it's he said/he said. I would want more facts if I was Boom.
If it turns out that Dom knocked the guy down unprovoked then I'm OK with a game or two.
If it turns out that the guy was vulgar in front of his mom and dad then I'm OK with a game.
What if drunk guy was really in Dom's face, his parents face and made contact first? Then some stadium steps are fine.
It's too fluid right now for me to pass judgement. For others, it's not. That's just differing opinions and that's fine.
Boom has already distanced himself from the old regime with the booting of Janoris. IMO anyway.

yes but with with les miles and jj id feel better with every team completely crippled.
even with he said she said id say he needs a game for getting physical. Easley isn't a normal kid, he is representing uf and right now this doesn't look good having uf mentioned for possible arrest again.
Now if its completely self defense than I wouldn't punish him, but getting physical over just words he should sit a game to make a point that you can't do stuff like that and get caught because you represent the university. Urban allowed players to get off free for everything so boom has to tighten it up to really get uf back on the path it should be.

that is the point you or i could get physical with someone for something small and its not likely a big deal would be made of it or anything would happen but when you are a public figure you can't do shite like this unless its in self defense and someone being a a-hole in front of your parents isn't self defense.

I'm sure Myles was being an obnoxious drunk/former player who is now a nobody, talking smack to Florida players as they left the stadium. Easley had enough and attacked him.
Bottom line: Myles continues being a nobody drunk former college player. Easley gets charged with assault. College players can't let fans get to them.

The problem is that no one knows but some are willing to judge the situation as if they were there. Not you specifically.

Not to derail this awesome thread, but what happened with JJ's charges? I know he's back on the team and played last week, but were all charges dropped? Did they not have any evidence? Nike logo didn't match-up?
