Very well said. They try so hard to belong. It's like the misfit kid at school who keep trying to join the cool kids. They start an inordinate amount of threads on this site that nobody cares about.
I'm originally from Missouri (albeit the extreme southeast portion of the state and nowhere near Columbia), and I don't want anything to do with that state, their sports teams, or their people. It would truly be a happy day if they found another conference. It was a horrible decision that Slive made. They are a complete cultural and geographical mismatch for this conference.
