We beat Ohio State in the shoe. That was a big game. What have you done besides flounder since Urban left?

We start every SEC season with a single goal in mind. Beat Bama first. They are the gold standard in this conference. Then win the SEC West. Win the SECCG. Make the CFP. Anything less is unacceptable.
If you are fortunate enough to be made a member of tSEC and Bama and Auburn move to an Eastern pod of some sort, you have a much easier road to travel. But it is a murderers row the entire way. There are no easy games in the West. We are battle hardened and have a chip on our shoulder. Unless you are Bama, you can go from 15-0 to 5-5 easily. And I accept that. It makes our conference that much more special.

He walked into that one.
In fairness, Florida was missing a ton of players. I don't know if or how many Oklahoma was missing, but I am sure there were a few that opted out as well.
Honestly, I could welcome Oklahoma to the SEC, but I really don't care for Texas and wish they would stay out. I am willing to give their fans a chance on the board, though. I have already seen several that seem to be level headed and knowledgeable so far.
I wonder how long it will take this board to corrupt them?

lol ok? And what, like 10 other teams in the sec have not won a championship since before that time, if ever? Maybe direct some of your vitriol at them for failing to get it done

5 Different SEC teams have played for a national Championship since Texas or any other BIG 12 team has won one. I mean, Texas has a proud history, but that is exactly what it is. History.
And before you bring it up. Yes. I realize and understand it has been since 1980 that we have won one. But I don't think there is an argument that for the past few years Georgia has come closer than Texas to winning another one.
Welcome to the SEC, but I think you will find it much tougher than you think. Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M and Georgia are all top flight teams and there are a lot of years that MState, Ole Miss, and South Carolina can break through and have a big year.
Right now....TODAY I would say (including Oklahoma) Texas might be the 8th best team in the SEC.

They apparently want money and mediocrity

Okay, fan of team that hasn't been relevant in 10 years.

A well thrown show and no real consequences either since the committee gave you a mulligan in case you beat Bama the next week.
