Can you really not tell a difference between a bowl game featuring two teams with multiple losses and one that was played for an actual national championship?

OU is great at the meaningless games. Playoff and title games? That's a different story.

They got throttled. Cruised along in the Big 12 and then found out what playing tSEC was all about.
didn’t a big 12 team beat them by 4 TDs that year on a neutral field before LSU beat them by 1 TD in LA?

Now go pull up the highlights of Texas winning that game...oh wait

That game had to be the longest game in college football hisfory. Orgeron had LSU players take a dive after every play and fake an injury because Texas was working their defense like a rented mule.... Then he blamed it on air conditioning or some silly crap...First time I ever heard that excuse from one of Texas opponents in the last 30 years, but everyone believed Budreaux..

Good thing Texas had stupid coaches and took their foot off the gas for you on offense. They were about to embarass the fat, beer gutted, out of shape National Champs of the SEC on national TV..

A win is a win, you won’t have to use transitive property soon to see

LSU beat them
This is the only part you need to remember. You know, it is something you have not done since 2005. Hell, when was the last time you even played in a National Championship game for football? The 2009 season? And you have been the bitch of Oklahoma since, correct?

lol ok? And what, like 10 other teams in the sec have not won a championship since before that time, if ever? Maybe direct some of your vitriol at them for failing to get it done

I think Texas has beat OU more times in that time frame than LSU has beaten bama. Does that make y’all the same to them?

Holy Christ you are pent up and pissed over this

I am directing my vitriol at shite talkers who have accomplished nothing in the past fifteen to twenty years and then come in here running their cake holes. I can hate Bama and still respect their tradition of winning. They run their mouths and then they back it up on the field. Hell, I could respect either of your programs if you were even competitive on the field but you are not. You beat your chests and then get the shite kicked out of you when given the chance on the big stage. You are an embarrassment and a cancer.

Other than that you are fine with me. No hard feelings?

Good point. I wonder what happened the last time each team played the sec in a bowl game?

80%? BS. OU was missing several pieces also, including our best cover corner, yet that Heisman Finalist still found a way to throw it to our secondary 3 times in one half.

Also, I guess your whole first team defense was out, because those scrubs out there on D got the Lincoln Riley educational experience. Our third and fourth string RBs looked like superstars against that vaunted Florida D.

looking forward to it then and again - only 4 teams have won a championship since we have. And trust me - plenty of those who haven’t talk shite as well. So maybe take a look at the rest of your members first

All our stars except Trask sat out and we ran the wrong routes to cause those ints.if you had done your homework you would know we had a down year on defense. Still I would take a 5-5 sec over ou any day.

Always excuses.

Your players talked like they were going to school OU and then got ran out of the building.

You don't hear OU fans whining that we were missing several key players vs LSU in 2019... we took that beating. Got whooped by a historic offense and solid Defense that day.

LSU was better in 2019. OU was better than Florida in 2020. The 6-7 people you were missing weren't going to change that loss to a win.
