I don't hate the guy or the hire. He might could be a decent replacement for Saban when Saban puts up his cleats. But I don't think he would be a permanent replacement. I don't think he is on par with Saban, Dabo, or Urban(and I'm not an Urban fan).

Correct. Average Notre Dame ACT I think is 34, SAT is 1475. I think for football no less than 23. So who he can recruit and compete with is a lot different than LSU, Alabama, UGA and everyone else in the SEC.
Last 5 years he is 54-9 with 2 double digit losses in the playoff.
Riley out OU was 55-10 with 3 playoff appearances and 2 double digit losses.
