Is there any strategy to this?

and the Benz is sooo much different than Jerry World, Mud Vernon.
We don't play at JerryWorld. We play at the Cotton Bowl - the real one.

You apparently missed the "mindset" part. Doesn't matter to the players and coaches what Vegas thinks.
Kirby will play up the underdog thing and why the hell not, It has worked until now.

Underdog is not a point spread.
Underdog is a feeling in the air that is mutual. Texas is the underdog.

Now THAT is a good answer. Thank you, and I agree that's gotta be it.

Houston is in Louisiana. We don't claim it.

East Texas and West LA have many of the same mosquito infested swamps/lakes flowing between their borders. TX = Mud state

Louisiana starts at Texas 8&4 campus.

Your scores don't seem to consistently indicate that.
I'm not talking stats.. I'm not talking scores.. and I'm mainly referring to Quinn.. It's just the way he carries himself.. I knew on the 1st series (despite 2 incompletions) that good Quinn had showed up and ready to play in the 1st half. It's his footwork, it's the speed of the game, it's stepping up in the pocket, it's his eyes staying downfield.. our defense has been great the whole year, including Georgia.. the short fields were just too much to overcome.
That doesn't always translate to better results though.. perhaps the other team plays worse on the road.. or perhaps the other team has some other issue.. We only played 1 decent opponent at home this year, and we shite the bed. Florida was playing a 3rd team walk-on QB. Our 3rd string QB could have probably won all of the other home games.
It's really just the eye test. I see a better team on the road. Then again, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Michigan are all better than the teams we played at home not named Georgia.

However... a few rivals bucked this system. The Redskins and Cardinals sometimes made the Cowboys were blue as the visiting team.
100 % correct. Tom also claimed this made it easier for his qbs to distinguish their receivers from the bad guys who were always wearing their dark jerseys.

Texas is a great underdog.. throughout history, that has always been the case. It doesn't happen much though.. that is probably true for Georgia as well. You could make the argument that both are going to play the game as the underdog this week.
Georgia because Texas is favored in Vegas and ranked higher.
Texas because Georgia kicked our arse earlier this year.
We shall see if it makes a difference. I think it will. We ate too much rat poison in the 1st game, and we came out and got punched in the mouth by a very focused and motivated Georgia team with something to prove.
Both teams have something to prove this week.. It should be the game we all wanted the 1st time.

To be clear - Texas fans love games at DKR. But for better or worse, we expect to win at DKR. We give defeat much more consideration on the road.
I think road wins leave us with a more lasting impression than home wins.
I say this because even I sometimes think Texas is better on the road - but the data just does not show that.

I usually always agree with this man, but fact is he is a dickhead.

Ewers, for one, will definitely be under dawgs.
