So since 2007 Saban's first year in Tuscaloosa here is the west winners
07-LSU
08-Bama
09-Bama
10-Auburn
11-LSU
12-Bama
13-Auburn
14-Bama
15-Bama
16-Bama
17-Auburn

So... To no surprise the greatest dynasty in cfb has won the west quite a bit but to say there is no competition is a bit naive

Okay. So Auburn has won it 3 times. And we beat Auburn regularly....but your argument (or you are at least insinuating) that we are only good because we don't have a good division. Okay....so the only real competition that Alabama has had in the last 10 years is a team we have beaten 10 of the last 13 times?

ETA
You really want to count a coaches first year at his team? Really?

Uga bragging about this year is like us bragging about 2011.

Sorry but if you arent first it doesnt matter

They tied Auburn last year...so Auburn tied. Do they get credit?

I thought LSU had one of the best teams in recent memory in 2011. However, we played for a national Championship. I'll go on record as saying that is a good year. Crap, you act like LSU has National Championships stacked up all over the place like Alabama!

Usc was #1 before the game and they smacked Michigan around in the rose bowl, but that’s only part of it. The loss to 5 loss uf could have eliminated y’all, but y’all got lucky enough to play on.

Well we have beaten auburn just as much as you have. Alabama doesnt have much problems beating anyone but auburn gives them trouble

So are you saying that LSU has only mattered 3 times in their history?

Auburn won the tie breaker they beat them head to head. That is how it works. Unless you are ole miss you dont claim co champs

Congratulations. You are the one trying to say the West is tough. Apparently it isn't as tough as you think, maybe?

No, they don't. Auburn gives them more trouble than most schools, but don't misconstrue that to mean Auburn gives them trouble. In the last 10 years Alabama has a 7-3 record. I don't call that "trouble".

You don't need a tie breaker if it's not a tie. But, yes, Auburn won the tie breaker.

Well, if you are Auburn you claim SEC West Championships. Hey, you can give last season to Auburn. Still doesn't change the fact that Alabama wins their division much more than any other West team.

Ou was just as lucky as lsu was. Neither had to face the #1 team and both lost a game.

Look at anyone in the last 10 years vs Bama.

Bro the west is the toughest division in football everyone knows that but trying to stack teams up to record vs bama isnt going to go well for anyone other than Alabama. They dont lose much

It was 3-4 years ago, but that time has passed. It is pretty much Alabama and the 6 dwarves. The SEC as a whole is not good top to bottom anymore. Granted, the West is tougher than the East, but I also actually agree that the East is not very good, either. 3-4 years ago the West might have had 2-3 teams ranked in the top 5. Not anymore.

USC lost as well my friend to a 6 loss cal team. Yes that had Aaron rodgers but still lost 6 games. Your arguement is void

We are a long way from 2011 when the West actually finished with 3 teams in the top 5 in the nation.

True dat! It seems to me that winning the division is harder than winning the playoffs.

Two teams typically. Alabama and occasionally Auburn.
Some tough teams? yeah, probably. But not great teams like 2011 and some years like that.

They dont seem to understand, the west is tough you dont get many years where you can just roll up and win.

They seem to forget ole miss rolling into athens and curb stomping them and the. Finishing 4th or 5th in the west that year.
