Its just some rain and a little wind. This isn't a major storm. Thats why people used to not build right on the coast line
Seriously, go frick yourself. Major flooding all the way into North Carolina. People are going to die.

The altimeter is still dropping to historic lows. When it hits land it will do serious wide damage. 5300 lightning strikes in the last hour.

Really sorry to all those having to deal with this. Houston went through it a few months ago but this one looks a lot worse. Y’all stay safe and God bless.

Thanks ….yet alas, I have just heard from a neighbor nearby the practically every house on the island has 1-3 ft of water in it….sandbags be damned.
Hoping to be able to cross the causeway tomorrow and get an asessment.

Really dumb question, but do teams have tarps for the field?
Auburn and Bama are supposed to get up to 10 inches of rain by Saturday morning
I have to imagine they will have it covered, right?
I remember when Georgia Southern was hailed as the creme de la creme of all of college football, 1a or 1aa, in regard to cutting edge field drainage of their beautiful Bermuda field
well planned levels of sand underneath, pumps, etc, supposedly that field was almost ready about 96% of the time regardless of weather conditions
I'm probably wrong on some minor or major point, and I'm posting this anyway
