He's been coached by Jimbo Fisher for 3 years. Same Jimbo that's got 3 quarterbacks drafted in round 1. I see you say this all the time, you act like Coker just woke up from a coma and is going to have to learn everything about being a quarterback from Lane Kiffin. At this point, Coker has as good or better coaching than any QB in the country.
All of this, and he still looked like hot garbage in the spotlight.

QBs have def proven that they can succeed quickly and in Year 1.

But for Every Cam, there is a Masoli.

I agree, but Coker is 6ft 5in, 230 LBS. Masoli was 5ft 11, 220 lbs. One has ideal size for a QB and a very strong arm. The other had neither of those things..and was playing for Ole Miss (no offense, Rebel fans, but it's not like Masoli had as much talent around him as Coker will).

The spotlight? Playing with the 2's is the spotlight?

The arrogance and stupidity of Tiger fans (both kinds)is amazing.

Coach Saban has risen from his humble WV roots to become the best and highest paid CFB in the nation and yet there are idiots on here who think they they're qualified to question him.

As a former GA with FSU, yes, it was very close. Everyone on strength staff was surprised with Jameis over Coker. Obviously it worked out for us very, very well though. I was upset to see Jake go. He was one of my favorite athletes I got to work with there, and having him as a Jameis contingency plan was a HUGE advantage. Jake on Bama's offense is going to be very, very hard to beat.
You're gonna really upset that Nebraska clown now.

The first one was a state troll thread and the second was after he blew up against USC

I'd be more concerned that Kiffin is the O.C. than Coker at qb.
You'r a Gator fan, right?....you don't need to be talking to anybody about offensive football.

You know, you remind me of some of the new Aubies we've picked up in the past year or so.

Y'all both suck.

And guys. I was also a GA at FSU this past season. And not only can I confirm what was posted earlier about Jake, but I was told that even Coach Fisher wanted Jake as the starter, but the collective brain-trust of Coach Bowden and some higher-ups at the university pressured Coach Fisher and his staff to start Jaboo instead.

Which is why Coach Fisher sent Jake to Bama to study under Nick Saban.

Oh shut up. I guess you followed FSU football closely and remember how tight of a race it was? Or wait, are you just BSing because you are a biased Bama fan? Yeahhhh, that's probably it.
Go back and look for yourself, nutsack. I brought the Coker thing to the board before it was ever publicly disclosed. I've got close friends with FSU affiliations and first hand knowledge of things in the athletic department there. Also, there have been several FSU folks (one GA with the athletic dept) on this thread who have said the same thing. I don't care what you, or any of the other idiots think about the Winston/Coker deal at FSU because I know what happened.
