This Colorado saga HAS to be staged right?

Apparently Dan Lanning (the Oregon Ducks HC) said in the off-season that Colorado has never won anything.
When asked if he regrets his comments, he basically said he stands by them.
Thus perfectly setting up Colorado for yet another reason to make it "personal".
What are the odds two head coaches directly diss that program right now?
Colorado is about to win this game aren't they.

Hold up, Colorado St was a 23.5 pt underdog because they aren’t a good team. And they outplayed Colorado even after it was “personal“ and should have won that game.

Deion says some really good things at times, some sounding like Denzel, says we need to stop making kids have to feel good all the time, that we lie to kids and pump them up for feel good reasons, and that america is soft

Then the white liberal interviewer on 60 Minutes needed to "push back" on that, letting Deion know that his rich white overlords might not appreciate those comments
So I do think at some point Deion is going to say to rich white liberals, hey stop telling black folks how to think
