Some of you probably weren’t alive or were too young to remember so let’s recap:

January 7 – U.S. President Jimmy Carter authorizes legislation giving $1.5 billion in loans to bail out the Chrysler Corporation

January 29 – The Rubik's Cube makes its international debut at The British Toy and Hobby Fair, Earl's Court, London

February 22 – The United States Olympic Hockey Team defeats the Soviet Union in the semifinals of the Winter Olympics, in the Miracle on Ice.

April 14 – Iron Maiden's debut self-titled album Iron Maiden is released in the U.K

May 11 – American mobster Henry Hill is arrested for drug possession.

The 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens volcano in Washington (state) kills 57 and causes US$3 billion in damage

May 21 – The Empire Strikes Back is released in the United States

December 8 – English musician John Lennon is murdered by Mark David Chapman outside the Dakota.

AuBARN fans were watching UGA win a natty and dreaming of the day they had won their last (1957)...After the game they all gathered round and came up with a plan to each pitch in half their savings each (roughly 2 donkeys and a bale of hay)so that they could have that feeling again. It only took them 53 years and they finally bought themselves one in 2010...

Man, you put way too much work into that for it to not be funny. Like, at all.

Most of us weren’t. Sad for fans to claim dynasty but they didn’t exist during their school’s last championship season. But what else are the dwags going to do? Watch the Falcons? the Hawks? The Braves? So much failure for one state.

You are definitely one of those Atlanta kids. You signed up last year immediately after the UGa game one to talk shite for three weeks and then disappeared (wonder why? 28-7) only to re-emerge this week. Took you a while to recover.

Have an upvote from me dawg... this is entertaining watching y'all cling to your last remaining shite talking point like it's a fricking piece of wood from the deck of the Titanic.

There were 53 years between Auburn's first national title and their next (and only other) one. I doubt it will be that long for UGA
