Some Auburn fans are hopeful that Georgia will be dropped from their future schedules as an annual opponent.

That is not true.

We've played LSU annually since the early 1960s. If you are writing a novel at least get it right.

If we go by games played, LSU has played Alabama the 3rd most in y'alls history.

Some Florida fans are worried their coach won't make it through 2025 with addition of Texas and OU.

Ol Sunbelt will have made his own bed by then. If his 10 year plan hasn't fully developed, he'll be hoisted on his own petard. Perhaps, if it comes to that, he should have had a 3 year plan.

Why am I not surprised? UF has no patience. The very reason they are in the mess they are

No, the reason we're in our current mess is AD's going for the cheap and easy hires too many times over the past decade. We never swung for the fence with any HC hire.

I mean “historically” it wouldn’t be considered a rivalry so I would agree in a sense. You could probably even say it’s a bit manufactured. However, it’s going to be hard to convince anyone that the game isn’t one of the better matchups of the year. Regardless of what title they want to call it; its two of the historically better teams (the last two decades) in the west battling for what usually has post season implications.

And I think most people would take a $700 profit regardless of the game lol.

Again, not news to me. I remember a lot of trips to BR as a kid when Cholly Mac would get his annual butt whipping.

Florida starts questioning their coaches 5 minutes after they arrive on campus. And that’s one reason your pickings are so slim. Not many quality HCs will put up with a fan base so impatient and judgmental - a school that starts Fire Ron Zook type websites to humiliate their coach. Florida only has Florida to blame for the demise of their program. Even during their “glory” days they were never happy. Whining constantly and questioning why they didn’t score more points. Gators love being miserable so the next decade or two should make them very happy

I seem to recall celebrations and pats on the back when new Florida coaches were hired. Will was suddenly a home town boy - yep Georgias former football co captain who was raised in Rome, Ga was really and truly a Gator - a guy whose recruiting talent was gonna put the rest of the SEC to shame, old Yella was THE man. A coaching genius. Guess all those “death threats” distracted him from his coaching duties , Mullen was a huge “get”. A bona fide weirdo and incredible developer of quarterbacks who became a laughing stock and lately Sun Belt Billy was gonna be the answers to all the Gators woes. And it’s been what? One year? and the Gators are getting restless yet again.
Of course Zook wasn’t that popular but give him his due. When he wasn’t inciting fights at frat houses he had at least developed that amazing talent of sleeping fast. And Urban the Cryer. What can we say? Success but with 2 murderers on the same totally undisciplined team. When the going got tough poor “sick” Urban did too.
I’m not sure I’ve covered everyone. There have been so many I’ve lost count. My apologies to any UF head coach I’ve overlooked. It’s hard to keep them all straight
