3rd in the SEC is a banner year for Vols. They have more losing seasons than 8+ win ones in the last 15 years

Tennessee has to take what they can get at this point. I’m sure they’ll be comfy sitting int their trailers watching LSU play their daddy (Georgia) in the SEC championship.

2017 Alabama was 3rd in the SEC, but also 1st in the country. I'd be perfectly fine with that.
2011 Alabama was also 3rd in the SEC but won the title 21-0.

When was Tennessee's last SEC title? Last national championship? I don't remember either in this century. Hey, Army was great in the 1940s.
