I watched Byron Harsin's media day appearance and WOW is that mfer boring. He must put croots to sleep on in home visits.

Well I am not going to go hard on a new coach who is new to the SEC footprint. But somebody in the SEC Media said that Harsin took 30 minutes to answer in essence 3 questions. I don't know if that was true, but that might have been a sign of nerves or a strategy to limit the number of questions that he wanted to answer, or some combination of both.

Or a sign he is very detailed in his approach to everything. Those who provide quick answers are usually the ones who fish out of a shallow pool.

That might be a plausible interpretation. I think the key indicators of what it does or does not mean are 1) How Auburn performs on the field this year and 2) What type of recruiting class he signs this December.

And again, I have no prediction on either 2 indicators. As I said in another post, the Auburn game has been one of the best games on LSU's home schedule for me as a season ticket holder, up there with Bama, Florida and Now Aggie and one that I, like all LSU fans look forward to seeing in Tiger Stadium.

Of course that is likely to change with the New Scheduling, but we all have to adapt to the changes that are certainty coming with respect to SEC football schedules.

Nobody is dick riding Bama (well maybe A&M), just showing the comparisons of each programs two biggest rivals and the hypocrisy of those who say trash about AU.

Or we could dispense with the cherry picking and go by the overall series record.

'Bama leads it 47-37. Think AU will be closing that gap any time soon?

Yeah. Me neither.

Wonder what the record would be if Alabama had to play @ Auburn every other year from the beginning of the rivalry. So go get the series record starting from 1989

Cherry picking? The gap is 10 games over history ? You think that is a lot considering the Bryant and Saban eras ? Wow.

Who is the dumbass? The person who claim dominance based on a 5 or ten game lead or the person who claims hypocrisy? Lol

So IP, what rival of Auburn does Auburn have a winning record against, other than Georgia Tech who AU hasn't beaten since Reagan's last term?

The TAMU baws are having the most epic little brother meltdown right now but you can't get out you own way and just let it happen.

Wow, a 4 game lead over Florida.

Guess yall really beat the shite out of them before they got Spurrier and before Pat Dye helped Eric Ramsey out with that loan.

No, all of the AU coaches had some success with UF. It was a very good rivalry. The fact that AU played MSU, UF, UGA and Bama to end the season for many years shows AU always had a hard schedule but did not dodge it. Plus they started the season with UT and played GA Tech midway. Not like playing in the East where you might play two tough games in a season. The fact that AU hasn't been dominiated by any program shoots your theory to the ground and shows you are FOS.
