Agree completely and been saying the same thing. Once the new season starts that defending champion and current champion goes out the window.

2nd half vs Georgia was just 5 days ago.
Unless you are talking about our last National Championship, which again, cannot be "defended".

I actually brought it up because I saw I saw a Miss St fan mention beating the defending National Champion in another post. That's ridiculous.
And yes, I have seen some of my own do it in the past, and I called them on it also.
