Texas was objectively better than Georgia last year. We beat Bama. Made the playoff. Finished higher in the rankings.
We both return our QBs and the same number of players on offense and defense. We had a higher ranked portal class meaning more instant impact players.
So why are they ranked higher? Make it make sense.

Objectively, Uga had more wins and less losses last year.
I am not familiar with what Texas returns, so I can’t speak on that. I will say Uga returns more than we usually do.

No, no you weren't. And they didn't get the same BAMA that you had. You just lost a major piece of your offense for the year, on top of having to fill some major defensive holes. The shorthorns will not make it to Atlanta.

They lost their best players on offense from last year, and several of their best defenders. Now it seems they've lost their 1 and 2 RB's for the year. The Texas Hype Machine is real.
Just sit back and enjoy the annual Texas meltdown. They'll have 2 or 3 losses by the time Georgia comes to town.
