Exactly. I fear that Hootie's ego is just too large. But the fact that he doesn't have an Uncle Franky in the ath. dept. is huge. He knows he has to improve and if he doesn't he will lose his job. It is what it is.
But hey, if we are gauging things by the past then Arky fans and players should update their version of Adobe Acrobat. Just saying.

I think the difference this time might be that he actually is himself choosing to bring in a playcalling OC vs. being forced to.
At least I really hope he does this. Nutt gets way too damn worked up during games to call plays. Not everyone can be head coach and call plays. Petrino pulls it off well.
Nutt needs to spend his efforts running the entire program and both sides of the ball instead of just trying to run an offense.

well he pretty much has to. Grandy really isn't cut out for WR, just special teams.

My girl dropped a gem during the egg bowl about Grandy., "when did Jesse grow a vagina?"

I see a new Mayhem commericial in the horizon.
I'm a successful college offensive coordinator brought in to improve the team and appease the fans, but I'm not calling the plays and will be coaching somewhere else in a couple years.
