I'm not sharing a title with anyone. If we
Lose in the NCG the we are not national champions regardless who we play. If you win the game you get the title.

Yep. 12 men in the huddle put Bama in a passing situation which led to a sack. LSU keeps the ball on the ground gets the yardage they need to kick a FG.

Even having said all that. Bama had more opportunities but pissed them away.

The only thing that matters to you is you get to avoid a re-match with Bama so you can play the weak sisters of the poor.

False.

LSU ran four plays from inside your five yard line at the end of the first half and only came away with three points.

That severely trumps your FG kicker missing fifty yarders.

I think so. Whats REALLY messing with my head is the 6th and 7th place votes OSU is getting. Those people WILL NOT put OSU at 2nd in two weeks, unless they are absolutely fricking with people right now. And you got Midwest voters and SEC hating voters right? EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has Alabama 2nd or 3rd. It will take a collective effort for voters to move Alabama down. It will be an obvious throwing of the poll.

As much as Bama fans keep crying about LSU NOT wanting to play Bama again, you guys are just as afraid to play us again.

JUST ADMIT IT!!! The thought of losing to Les Miles TWICE.

Yes. We're so afraid we threw a party when Iowa State beat OSU. I saw some people so afraid they called all their friends to tell them how afraid they were.

Actually, Mathieu and Brooks running by your tackles and Sam Montgomery shoving two of your fatass linemen in the backfield is what "led to a sack."

Yeah, but how many people does this account for? That shite changes quickly, see 2007

A bunch it seems. I think in the human polls Alabama is like 2.02. So damn near 100% 2nd place votes. OSU is like 6.23. So a fair share of 7th place and a shite ton of 6th place votes. And if Midwestern homers have them 3 4 or 5 then someone have them 8th. I KNOW things will change, but it will be obvious that people are screwing around if votes change a whole lot.

False. That's 4 fups on a one drive opportunity.

LSU offense crossed the 50 only 3 times.

Bama offense crossed the 50 5 times.

Never would have been in a passing situation without the penalty.

114 out of 115 in the Harris
I think it was something like 53-54 in the Coaches

Right, but that's what happen in 2007. Hell, most coaches don't even fill out their own ballots until the last week of the season.

And the other thing working against Alabama is the schedule. OSU plays OU in primetime on ABC on the last night of the season with basically no competition (BYU v. Hawaii is on ESPN2).

ESPN is going to hype the shite out of that game and you know that the talking point will be whether OSU deserves a shot at the NC if the beat OU.

Again, I think Stanford and VT's roles are absolutely huge.

You keep talking about OSU getting 6th place votes, but if Stanford, VT, and Arkansas lose, those 6th place votes become 3rd place votes and some become 2nd place votes.

Still a lot of things that need to happen, but if I'm a Tide fan, I'm pulling hard for the Hokies and Stanford.

Right. Because the odds of scoring from inside the five are roughly equivalent to odds of scoring from inside the fifty.

I'm assuming you didn't actually attend the University of Alabama.

Well shite, here's your "Crossed the 50 2 more times than LSU even though we still lost" trophy.

Yes, because 2nd and 10 and 3rd and 10 aren't "passing situations."

I'm the biggest Stanford and VT fan on the planet 07 was a little different than this though. LSU had already beaten VT. 2 teams lost in the last week. And they got a bump from playing an extra game, the SECCG, which as we all know is a big help if a team needs to make a jump.

But they also leap frogged a previous ranked #4 UGA team that was idle on that last weekend. And when you look at the coaches poll from the last week, it's absolutely crazy. For instance, Bob Stoops had three Big 12 teams above Ohio State who he had ranked at #6.
